The Lounge
Now that I have more experience under my belt with the Chase cards, I had been informed by my drinking friends, who all share a flying problem with me, that the Ritz Carlton card is the same as a Chase Sapphire Reserve, and I have unlimited access to Sapphire lounges in addition to my Priority Pass+ membership provided by it!Well, knowing that, and having to go to Dallas a bit for work, I was looking forward to getting into this lounge and checking it out. I have been twice so far and just wow!
It's in Terminal D and against the east wall (the side you come through security in). It's not overt, but also not really hidden, near shops and such.
Dining/Food
There is a grab and go, kind of a buffet for food. Nice items, with a wide range. There is also ordering off the menu. A hamburger is always available to request it seems (and always in my gut too now).Drinking
Now that drinking is back in Vogue (thanks for allowing it Millenials...) the center of the world here is the bar and the drinks. Specialty drinks by region and the systemwide classic the Sapphire. Oh did I mention the whiskeys? No? Ok, you have to go just for those.
Up to the desk to deem if you are worthy
As you go farther and farther down, the seating gets quieter
Until the absolute end, and you can read a book and look at all the poor individuals waiting for security below
Since family travel is a big deal again, the kids jail (What Editrix? That's insensitive? Fine...) child corral is a welcome addition
The room behind the bar, where... you just dont want to leave. They come to ask you for food and drinks too while you sit
Like a smorgasbord, even things I can eat"
Well, I can always eat these
Coffee, tea, water, on tap? Intersting
Sit and eat in the eating area (or better in the backroom, trust me, or dont)
How the bar was this empty for the shot was really a miracle, it's never empty

And what is this? A whiskey cart with items you really don't find anywhere?
Since I was waiting for my own flight, I caught an earlier flight here"
Just take some beers I guess. Yes, well, beer has never been my thing
Seating around the bar, which is generally individuals by themselves, which is an interesting dynamic
Summary
What an excellent, international level, airline lounge, with even a spa that has facials and shoulder massage available.The level of alcoholic drinks are far above expectations. I just wait for my "3 hours before flight" to be able to enter each time in DFW now.

Couldn't agree more - my favorite lounge at DFW now by far, and makes me question my C1VX tbh

I am really impressed, this is the finest non airline affiliated lounge I have experienced so far. I wish I could spend more time in it per trip to be honest.
